HRBP programme success

The Mind at Work has equipped 11 HR practitioners from seven leading international organisations with new tools to become more purposeful and effective business partners.

The pioneering HR Business Partner programme, launched in Copenhagen, helps build functionally strong, self-aware and purpose-led HRBPs who will engage and support their organisation more effectively.

The inaugural four-day event welcomed participants from Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Qatar, representing a diverse range of sectors that included energy, shipping, media, environmental consultancy and insurance.

Developed by The Mind at Work’s specialist team of HR designers, the unique programme embeds the transformational nature of The Mind at Work’s wider leadership offering within a specific HR context.

HR Designer at The Mind at Work, Stuart Worker, who supported the design and delivery of the programme said:

“We had a wonderful four days together with the delegates. It was our first HRBP programme and we were all excited to see how the purpose of the programme would land.

“The feedback that we have received from participants has been really powerful and they all expressed a strong appreciation of how to incorporate the material within their everyday working lives.”

The multi-faceted HRBP programme encompasses interactive group learning, self-reflection, strategic thinking, individual functional insights and real-life examples of organisational challenges.

An external panel of experienced chief HR officers attended an interactive final day session to share their knowledge and reinforce the practical application of learning.

Stuart added: “It was amazing to witness the delegates as they were leaning in on the content and the learning. They supported one another and were open and honest with their challenges to the benefit of themselves and the group.

“We could not have asked for more and we are already planning our next series of programmes for 2020”.
